About Us

Headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, Revstone manufactures transportation and heavy truck components. Led by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer George Hofmeister, Revstone thrives under the management of a group of industrial manufacturing experts. Through acquisitions, mergers, and other restructurings, the company now operates more than 60 facilities worldwide. The company consists of multiple groups: Cast Metals, Formed Metals, Tool & Engineering, Power Tec and Aftermarket. Revstone's Cast and Formed Metals groups manufacture components that are widely used in engines, transmissions, suspensions, chassis, steering, and more. The designs and equipment to manufacture these parts are provided by Revstone’s Tool & Engineering group. Original equipment manufacturers and buyers of engineering and remanufacturing services are some of the clients of the Revstone Power Tec, while Revstone Aftermarket primarily serves retail customers. Currently, Revstone's facilities are located in the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Costa Rica, and the company's leadership is acting to expand its reach in European and Asian markets. Meanwhile, Revstone has continued its aggressive acquisition strategy in North America; most recently, the firm purchased a magnesium die casting facility in Chihuahua, Mexico in January 2011, and a gray and ductile iron foundry in Fairfield, Iowa, in December 2010. To date, the company has purchased 17 companies since its founding in 2008.
